YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – A Youngstown State University student reported that an unknown man yelled, “Go back to your country” after shooting at a group of students with a pellet gun.
The assault was reported just after 10:30 p.m. Saturday.
The students were at the water fountain near Kilcawley Center on campus when they reported that a man in his 20s rode by on a bicycle and fired a dozen pellets at them from a BB gun.
One of the students was hit on the wrist, and one was hit on the shoulder, according to a police report. Two other students who were with the group were not hit.
The students gave police a description of the shooter, but no arrests have been made yet.
