CUYAHOGA COUNTY, Ohio (WOIO) – Both the East Cleveland and Euclid Fire Departments responded to a record number of calls in 2024.
Euclid firefighters posted they had 13,111 calls for fire & EMS service.
“Another all-time high for Euclid Fire,” posted firefighters on Facebook.
East Cleveland: The violent crime rate of 7.69 per 100,000 residents is about twice the national rate of 3.8 and above the statewide rate of 2.85. In the same way, the number of reported crimes per square mile is about five times that of Ohio and the nation.
