I bought both the Big Kahuna LED flashlight and this one. I bought both because I couldn't make up my mind based on the existing reviews for either. This one, the 100 LED Super Bright, is brighter and lighter than the Big Kahuna. I live out in the country and it gets very dark here at night. I used them side by side and the Kahuna was noticeably less bright. I suppose the Kahuna is pretty bright, too, if you don't have the comparison. The 100 LED Super Bright has my vote.

This flashlight has a solid, professional feel to it.
It does indeed have 100 bright white LED's. It generates a focused bright white circle of light and an outer, slightly dimmer circle to illuminate the surrounding area.
I am glad I bought this. Ever since surviving Hurricanes Andrew and Katrina, I always seem to be buying flashlights and batteries.

Not much to say. It's very bright and works well.
It doesn't have a gasket on the screw off end to replace
batteries so it may not be waterproof.
I am a huge fan of LED flashlights. So much brighter than
the old light bulbs.

Got it as a Christmas Gift for my wife. Just the right size, solid. When I turned it on and pointed it at myself, It almost blinded me.

After getting a small 9 light LED flashlight as a gift last fall and being very impressed, I decided to get a larger 100 LED flashlight. Boy am I happy. This flash light is average in size, fits nicely in you hands, is sturdy & tough, is lightweight, and most importantly is bright. The light emitted from this LED flashlight is a little different than other high powered flashlights in that the light is diffused instead of being a beam. This is helpful for walking or situations when you need the light to cover a large area. I would recommend this flashlight and plan to purchase a few more in the coming months.
